Coast to Coast

The Sportsmed team once again did the hard yards providing support services to the coast to coast participants and supporters this year.  Thursday involved literally using hundreds of metres of tape and losing a fair bit of skin from our fingers to strap up the runners for the mountain run the following day.  Friday was a long but enjoyable day at Klondike corner, providing medical, nursing and physio support to participants as they crossed the line.  Saturday was a disaster weather wise but amazingly given the conditions there were no significant accidents and our team could stay warm and dry, observing proceedings from within the car!

Christchurch Star City to Surf

Once again there was a great turn out to this event and Sportsmed are proud to be associated with it.  On the day our podiatry team were inundated with people wanting to check out some of the gadgetry on display, get advice on footwear and enter a competition we had running.
